Below you will find information about joining the Band Boosters.

Who are the Band Boosters?

We are parents who "boost" the Grove City High School Band. The Southwestern-City Schools district supports the arts in a huge way. We are grateful to have the support from the district. However, it takes a lot to put on the booster program for things that are not covered by the district. Among those are new/replacement instruments, props for shows as well as Transportation of all the equipment needed for the band during marching and concert seasons.

Another aspect of the Band Boosters is to support the band during its many activities: Chaperones, Water Crew, Medical Support, Pit Crew, and more.

This is where the GCHS Band Boosters come in. We help to fundraise for all the needs of the band.  Your support through volunteering at fundraisers and helping the band at events make it all possible.

Why Join the boosters?

There are a few benefits to joining the boosters. First and foremost, as a booster member, you are covered under our liability insurance if you are hurt or injured. Thus, it allows you to fundraise for the band at events like Crew Soccer games and OSU Games. You can also vote in the booster elections, hold office, and become a booster chair.

Types of Booster Members

  • Full Members - Full members are parents or guardians of a student in the band. Full members can vote in booster elections.
  • Associate Members - These are any other family member or friend who is participating in fundraising or other booster activities.

Booster Membership fees are $5.00 per year, per person.

How to Become a Member

Full Members

Your Booster Membership fee will appear in CutTime.  If you prefer not to be a booster member, contact the CutTime Chair and request to have it removed.

Associate Members

You may sign up as an associate member using this form at Zeffy.
